UniCredit Bank Austria AG: Maintenance activities 04./05.11.2022
Due to maintenance activities our production APIs, UniCredit Bank Austria PSD2 API redirect, 24You Internetbanking and MobileBanking will not be available between Friday, 04.11.2022 11:30 p.m. CET – Saturday, 05.11.2022 5:00 a.m. CET.
Delivery of MobileTAN Push messages is also not possible during that time window.
The Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.
There are no changes on the APIs or documentation because of these activities.

UniCredit Bank AG (Germany): Maintenance activities on instant payments 31.10./01.11.2022
Due to urgent maintenance activities, the UniCredit Bank AG (Germany) PSD2 production APIs related to instant payments will be unavailable from Monday 31.10.2022 7:00 p.m. CET till Tuesday 01.11.2022 08:00 a.m. CET.
Other APIs, countries, the Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.
There are no changes on the APIs or documentation because of these activities.

Due to maintenance activities, PSD2 APIs for UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt., UniCredit Bank Romania, UniCredit Bank Slovenia will not be available between Tuesday, 25.10.2022 11:00 p.m. CEST – Wednesday 5:00 a.m. CEST.

UniCredit Bank Austria AG: New feature for Debtor Name and IBAN selection
We are pleased to inform you that the new functionality - Debtor Name and IBAN selection – has been released in production API environment on 26.09.2022.
The mandatory Debtor IBAN entry for PISPs during payment initiations is removed. TPPs will be able to initiate payments even without providing the Debtor IBAN. In such case, the PSU will have the possibility to select the debtor account in the redirect flow.
TPPs will retrieve the Debtor Name for an SCT via the GET payment details request.
Updated documentation is available on the UniCredit Developer Portal.

(Croatia), UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt., UniCredit Bank Romania and UniCredit Bank CZ Rep. and SK will be unavailable between Saturday, 24.09.2022 7:00 p.m. CEST – Sunday, 25.09.2022 1:00 a.m. CEST.

With reference to the news published on 13th September, we would like to inform you, that the new functionality - Debtor Name and IBAN selection – is not yet live for UniCredit Bank Austria AG.
We will communicate the new release date of the feature as soon as possible.

buddybank (Italy): Change on decoupled flow
We announce that for buddybank (Italy), the psuMessage for the decoupled flow will be returned in future on root level of the response message (as documented) instead as now inside the _links section.
To avoid issues parsing the changed response message, please foresee latest until end of this year to retrieve the psuMessage attribute both inside and outside the _links section for
- Payment initiation
- Periodic Payment initiation
- Authorization of Payment initiation
- Authorization of periodic Payment initiation
You can do tests based on our Sandbox response, which already returns the correct response message.
The switch on production APIs is planned for beginning of 2023.
This affects buddybank (Italy) only. Other countries, the Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.

UniCredit Bulbank AD: New features for Real API
We are glad to inform you that the below new features for Real API environment are fully activated.
- Making debtorAccount field optional on POSTinitPaymentRequest will enable TPPs to send PIS requests without this field. Once the user follows the redirect link, user will be forwarded to UniCredit channel. Afterwards, when user passes authorization and authentication, the payment will be displayed with the option to select Payer account based on the logic on payment type and the user’s account rights. Once the user signs the payment, the flow continues in the general way.
- Implementation of Bank-offered account will enable TPPs to send AIS consent requests without dedicated accounts. Once the user follows the redirect link and authenticates, the user will be presented with eligible accounts (based on the user’s account rights). The user will then decide on what permission types and what accounts will grant to the TPPs.
- DebtorName on GETpaymentDetailResponse – enabling additional field (debtor name/ name of the account owner) to be present on API GETpaymentDetail response.
