By disclosing the present APIs UniCredit S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as "UniCredit"; “the Bank”), Parent Company of the UniCredit Banking Group, fulfills the requirements for the common and secure open standards of communication of the COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2018/389 of 27 November 2017 supplementing Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards for strong customer authentication and common and secure open standards of communication.
UniCredit kindly informs the Third Party Providers that the disclosed API Sandbox is only available for testing purposes of Third Parties.
Fundamentally, the Sandbox environment is used to mimic the characteristics of a real environment and create simulated responses based on testing data. The testing data used in the sandbox are all ‘artificially’ created by the Bank and do not contain any real data which would fall under the Bank’s obligation of keeping banking secrets. This means that except for the herein used international bank account numbers, all names of the payers, transaction amounts, account balances, names of the payees, etc. are made up, no identification with actual clients, transactions, business partners, etc. is intended or should be inferred. The given international bank account numbers are already closed bank accounts of ex legal entity clients used to enable the testing of the third party providers to run successfully. As Sandbox environment has a testing purpose, the Bank reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove testing data at any time.
