Accessibility

UniCredit's commitment

At UniCredit, we recognise that relying on the diversity of people is vital to our business.
We have long been committed to the themes of inclusion, fairness, respect for people, valuing diversity, integration, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the ambition to remove any kind of inequality, promoting the inclusion of all, regardless of gender identity, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, background, religious or ethical value system and political beliefs. The goal we want to achieve is the removal of any kind of barrier, be it physical or digital, for our people as much as for our users.
This includes the subject of digital accessibility, understood as the need to deliver services and provide information within the reach of all, without discrimination

The new digital challenge

At UniCredit, we are also committed to thinking inclusively in terms of digitalisation for both our people and our users.
For this reason, a major review of digital assets is underway, involving external experts and internal working groups, with the direct and crucial involvement of colleagues with disabilities, who share ideas and suggestions based on real user needs.
The challenge is demanding and the journey long: it must be pursued with complex and constant interventions so that accessibility is truly within everyone's reach.

For us, this is not just an act of compliance, but a unique opportunity to learn about accessibility and inclusion, to remove any barriers and create a truly inclusive environment.
