• UniCredit S.p.A (Italy) and UniCredit Bank GmbH (Germany) will be unavailable between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. CET on Sunday, 08.03.2026
• UniCredit S.p.A (Italy) and UniCredit Bank Austria may be unavailable for about 60 minutes between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. CET on Thursday, 12.03.2026
• UniCredit Bank Austria and UniCredit Bank GmbH (Germany) may be unavailable for 60 minutes between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. CET on both the days - Tuesday, 17.03.2026 and Tuesday, 24.03.2026
• UniCredit Bank GmbH (Germany) will be unavailable between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. CET on Wednesday, 25.03.2026.

• on Tuesday, 10.03.2026 between 10:00 p.m. CET and 11:59 p.m. CET.

Delivery of MobileTAN Push messages is also not possible during that time window.

UniCredit Bank S.A. (Romania): New feature for payment initiation for Real API (AliasPay using phone number)

We are pleased to inform you that a new feature is now available in the Real API for Domestic Instant Payments (RON). Payment initiation can also be performed using the beneficiary’s MSISDN (phone number) as an identification method.

This enhancement enables a more seamless and user friendly experience for customers, while maintaining the same high level of security and compliance across our services.

Please note that the beneficiary’s MSISDN must be enrolled in AliasPay, the service provided by Transfond through participating banks mobile applications. Only phone numbers registered within AliasPay can be used for payment initiation.

UniCredit Bulbank (Bulgaria): Maintenance activities related to adoption of EUR in Bulgaria

Due to maintenance activities, our production PSD2 APIs related to UniCredit Bulbank (Bulgaria) will be unavailable or partly interrupted from Tuesday, 30.12.2025 1:00 p.m. CET till Saturday, 03.01.2026 6:00 p.m. CET.

Other countries, the Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.

Adoption of EUR in Bulgaria – Changes to APIs

With Bulgaria joining the Eurozone from 1.1.2026 the following changes will be made to our APIs to comply with the new currency and also to optimize the products we support:

• BGN currency will no longer be supported for payment initiation and only the EUR currency will be allowed for domestic credit transfers
• The product domestic-credit-transfers-BGN will not be supported for payment initiation and
• All domestic credit transfers after the adoption of the euro must be initiated using the sepa-credit-transfers product, including intrabank payments in EUR
• Classic SEPA credit transfers (to members of the SEPA zone) will continue to be supported via the sepa-credit-transfers product
• The product domestic-budget-transfers-bgn will be supported indefinitely for initiating VAT and other payments to the local and government institution in the domestic currency – EUR
• Foreign currency payments in the same bank (intrabank) and to other banks still have to be initiated using the cross-border-credit-transfers product
• Transaction history and Payment details for payments processed before the euro adoption will be available in BGN
• The described changes will also be applied to bulk payments and periodic payments (standing orders)
• Domestic instant payments in EUR will be supported via the sepa-credit-transfers product (also bulk payments) by using the service level code INST
• Cross-border SEPA instant payments will be supported later in 2026
