UniCredit Bank AG is happy to announce that we have received from the National Competent Authority BaFin in Germany with their reference GIT1-K5330-100027-2019/0001 the exemption from providing a fallback mechanism. This exemption was received on April 13th, 2021.

We are very proud of this achievement as it demonstrates our commitment to guarantee to our customers the same level of service on the dedicated interface (API) as on our own channels.

Therefore we also expect that you recognize our effort taken to create this dedicated interface and use it as outlined by regulation.

Due to maintenance activities in 24You Internetbanking channel, the UniCredit Bank Austria AG X2A AIS API won’t be available on 24.04.2021 01:00 - 02:30 am CEST.

On 25.04.2021 short interruptions can occur in all Bank Austria Internetbanking channels and the UniCredit Bank Austria AG X2A APIs (production) between 02:00 - 05:00 am CEST.

APIs in other countries, the Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.

Due to regular maintenance activities in the MobileBanking channel, delivery of MobileTAN Push messages will temporarily be unavailable Wednesday 21.04.2021 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. CEST. Please note that customers will not be able to retrieve MobileTAN Push messages during that timeframe. SMS TAN and cardTAN will not be impacted.

UniCredit Bank Austria API as well as redirect will remain available during that timeframe. APIs in other countries, the Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.

In line with regulatory requirements, the API’s for Zagrebačka banka d.d. will undergo some changes firstly for Sandbox API’s (change planned currently for start of May 2021) and later on for Real API’s (change currently planned by end of June 2021). More precise dates are to follow soon.

As preview for API changes:

• Support IBAN selection during payment and standing order initiation alongside the current implementation
• Support Bank-offered consent model for AIS consents
• Return Account Holder Name in response to GET payment request PIS service for both single payments and standing orders
• A change has been introduced in the payment authorization process on a dedicated interface. When the client on the TPP side enters IBAN, authentication and authorization on dedicated interface is simultaneously performed following displayed instructions.

From 23 March the UniCredit.it public site and UniCredit Italy Internet banking Site will receive a graphic update to the user interface.

Also the Dedicated Interface will be graphically updated in the look and feel accordingly, while no change will be applied to its functionalities (including the methods of access and confirmation of the provisions).
