UniCredit Bank Austria AG: new Funds-Check functionality

We are pleased to inform you that the Real Funds-Check functionality for the UniCredit Bank Austria will be deployed on 17.3.2023.

This development will return a new Boolean field “fundsAvailable” with the status “true” or “false”.

In view of this new development, we are releasing the related Real API environment for UniCredit Bank Austria.

Kindly notice that the new Funds-Check service is only available for the PSU-ID-Type 24YOU and BusinessNet for Online banking channel, on Mobile Apps it will be available with the App2App Redirect release planned for 27.3.2023.

UniCredit Bank Austria AG: UPDATED information: App2App redirect release shifted to 27.03.2023

We want to update the information published on 03.03.2023 that the App2App Redirect service for the UniCredit Bank Austria Mobile Banking Apps will be deployed on 27.03.2023. This development is using the SCA Decoupled flow available for the Bank Austria Mobile Banking App and BusinessNet App.

We kindly ask to check and update your internal system configuration in order to guarantee correct SCA redirect and decoupled processes as of 28.03.2023:

• TPP-Redirect-Preferred => set to “true” will use the REDIRECT SCA method to Internetbanking of supported PSU-ID-Types
• TPP-Redirect-Preferred => set to “false” will use the DECOUPLED SCA method for App2App Redirect of supported PSU-ID-Types (24YOU = MobileBanking App and BUSINESSNET = BusinessNet App).
• TPP-Redirect-Preferred missing: The default value when the header is not present is "false".

Please be aware that an incorrect TPP backend setting can lead to rejected payments/consents.

UniCredit S.p.A. (Italy):  technical interventions on Foreign Payments

In order to comply with regulatory adjustments required by ECB, starting from Wednesday, 15.03.2023 5:00 p.m. CET our production APIs related to UniCredit S.p.A. (Italy) for payment products “cross-border-credit-transfers” and  “target-2-payments” may not be available due to technical interventions. Our direct channels are impacted as well. The function will be fully available again from the morning of Saturday, March 18th.

Maintenance activities 11./12.03.2023

Due to maintenance activities, our production PSD2 APIs related to

• UniCredit Bank Austria AG, UniCredit S.p.A. (Italy) and buddybank (Italy) may experience up to 60 minutes of unavailability on Saturday, 11.03.2023 between 2:00 a.m. CET - 5:00 a.m. CET. Delivery of MobileTAN Push messages is also not possible during that time window.
• Payment Initiation Service (PIS) for UniCredit Bank Austria AG, UniCredit S.p.A. (Italy), buddybank (Italy) and UniCredit Bank AG (Germany) will be unavailable for up to 2 hours on Saturday, 11.03.2023 between 1:00 a.m. CET - 5:00 a.m. CET.
• Corporate Customers using Corporate Portal for UniCredit S.p.A. (Italy), UniCredit Bank AG (Germany), Zagrebačka banka d.d. (Croatia), UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt., UniCredit Bank Romania and UniCredit Bank CZ Rep. and SK will be unavailable on  Saturday, 11.03.2023 between 2:00 a.m. CET – 5:00 a.m. CET.
• All countries may experience up to 45 minutes of unavailability on Sunday, 12.03.2023 between 1:00 a.m. CET - 5:00 a.m. CET.

Developer Portal and the Sandbox APIs will not be affected.

There are no changes on the APIs or documentation because of these activities.

UniCredit Bank Austria AG: Important information

We want to again highlight an important change to the UCBA API planned with a release on 17.03.2023.

As communicated on 24.01.2023 (“UniCredit Bank Austria AG: new Sandbox App2App redirect”), the App2App Redirect service for the UniCredit Bank Austria Mobile Banking Apps will be deployed on 17.03.2023, this development is using the SCA Decoupled flow available for the Bank Austria Mobile Banking App and BusinessNet App.
